Privacy policy

TWIN is built to need as little of your data as possible. You can read every call without an account, and TWIN never holds your keys or your funds.

What TWIN never collects

  • Seed phrases or private keys. TWIN never asks for them and has no way to see them.
  • Your funds. TWIN has no custody and cannot move anything without a trade you confirm.
  • Advertising or analytics trackers. TWIN runs none and sells no data.

What TWIN processes

  • Wallet addresses you paste to twin. TWIN stores the address, the public transactions it read and the profile it learned, so the twin link keeps working. Wallet addresses and their transactions are already public on the Solana blockchain. Anyone with a twin link can open it.
  • Calls and their outcomes. Tokens, scores, verdicts and later prices, used for the board and the public track record. They contain no personal data.
  • Tokens you ask about. The contract address or ticker you type, to look it up and show a call. The call itself may be kept with the others for the track record.
  • Rate limiting. To stop abuse, TWIN keeps a one-way hash of your IP address, deleted within about an hour. The IP itself is not stored by TWIN.
  • Hosting logs. Like any website, the hosting provider records technical request data (such as IP address, browser and time) for security and reliability.

If you use the TWIN wallet

Sign-in and the wallet are provided by Privy. When you sign in with email, Privy processes your email address to send a login code; with Google, Privy receives your basic Google profile (name, email) through Google sign-in. Privy creates your Solana wallet and holds its key in its isolated signer; TWIN's servers never receive the key. Your email is shown in your browser so you know which account you are using; TWIN does not store it on its servers. Privy's own privacy policy applies to the data it processes.

When you trade, the transaction is built in your browser with Jupiter, signed by your wallet, and sent to Solana through TWIN's relay, which only forwards the already-signed transaction. Every Solana transaction is public and permanent.

If you connect your own wallet

Your wallet (for example Phantom or Solflare) shares only your public address with the page. You approve every trade inside the wallet. The page remembers which wallet you used last in your browser's local storage.

Who else processes data

  • Vercel: hosting.
  • Neon: the database that stores twins, calls and outcomes.
  • Privy (and Google, if you choose Google sign-in): sign-in and the TWIN wallet.
  • Jupiter: market data, quotes and swaps. To build a swap, your browser sends Jupiter your public wallet address and the trade details.
  • Solana RPC providers: reading public balances and transactions, and sending signed transactions.
  • Coinbase: the public SOL/USD price.
  • Anthropic, only when AI notes are enabled: receives market numbers about a token to write the short note. No personal data is sent.

Your browser

TWIN uses your browser's local storage for small preferences, such as whether you chose to play the motion and which wallet you connected. Privy uses browser storage to keep you signed in. No tracking cookies.

How long data is kept

Twins, calls and outcomes are kept while the service runs, so links and the track record keep working. Rate-limit hashes are deleted within about an hour. Hosting logs follow the hosting provider's retention.

Your choices

  • Read calls without signing in or connecting anything.
  • Sign out of the TWIN wallet at any time, and export its key to move your funds elsewhere.
  • Ask for a twin link you created to be removed, or ask what data relates to you, with a direct message to TWIN's official account on X.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes too. See also the docs and how it works.
